Production Complete, Towels Are On the Move 🚢

We hope everyone had a great summer! We’re back with a quick update on the Everything Towel, where things stand, and an updated shipping/delivery timeline.
The big news: production is complete, quality inspections are done, and the Everything Towels are now on their way to our warehouse for fulfillment 🎉
We started production in early July, just before the campaign wrapped up, and it’s been quite the journey getting thousands of towels across five unlocked colors woven, finished, inspected, and packed.
Our original plan was to have this shipment on the water by August 22nd and begin fulfillment in September. Unfortunately, Tunisia (where we're producing the Everything Towel) experienced extensive rolling blackouts and power cuts throughout the summer, which slowed down the final finishing and packaging stage.
Not exactly something you can plan for.
Rather than rush things, we visited the factory ourselves, inspected production in person, and went over the final details with the team before giving everything the green light.
Now the towels are moving 🚢
Updated Timeline
All completed surveys will now be locked on September 20th in order to prepare the fulfillment plan and ship your rewards out as soon as possible. We plan to start shipping out orders starting in mid-October. Here's the timeline:

A quick note on International Shipping 🌎
We’ve heard from several international backers about shipping costs, and we completely understand. Shipping to some destinations is expensive.
We use tracked and insured shipping, and for applicable countries, import taxes/VAT/GST are collected upfront through the survey so you aren't hit with surprise taxes, brokerage fees, or handling charges when your package arrives.
There are certainly cheaper international shipping methods available, but after 12 Kickstarter campaigns, we’ve learned that cheaper can quickly turn into slower delivery, poor tracking, lost packages, unexpected fees for you, and more frustration.
Our goal is simple: get your Everything Towels to you safely, reliably, and quickly.

Surveys Rolling Out, Production Wrapping Up 🌯

Hi Backers 👋
We're happy to announce that the Backerkit surveys are being sent out! We’re sending them to a small batch of backers first. Once we confirm everything is rolling out smoothly, the rest of the surveys will be sent to everyone.
It’s taken us a little longer than planned to get here, which has pushed the delivery timeline back slightly. A lot has changed with Kickstarter and global logistics since our last project, and as this is our first time manufacturing in Tunisia, we've found that Mediterranean summers have a way of moving at their own pace. We’ve been taking the time to work through every detail properly, and we’re excited to finally move on to the next stage!
For those new to Kickstarter, the BackerKit survey is where you tell us your shipping address, select the color for your rewards, add any add-ons to your order, and pay for shipping, which wasn’t collected during the campaign.
The sooner you complete your survey, the sooner we'll ship your rewards! If you run into any issues, please let us know by emailing us at [email protected]. This will always be the best and fastest way to reach us.
Things to keep in mind:
- You will have until August 25th to make changes to your survey once it is completed. After that date, surveys will be locked.
- Your payment method will be charged 2-3 weeks before we begin shipping.
- Enjoy discounted shipping on all add-ons and free worldwide shipping on smaller items like Scrubbers, the Duck, and The Hanger (no matter what pledge level you're in)
- If you're going to be moving around this period, no rush. You can wait until you're settled in to finalize your survey. Whenever you're ready, submit your survey, and we'll send your rewards to your updated address.
- If your payment has failed or you have been dropped as a backer, you'll still get a chance to claim your rewards and provide a different payment method on Backerkit.
- Backers who pledge over time will only be eligible to receive surveys once their final payment has been completed on Kickstarter.
Thank you for supporting our project and for your patience while we work on getting your rewards ready! Next step? Shipping the Everything Towels over to our warehouses and then to your doorstep. Production is wrapping up soon, and we expect to start shipping out rewards around mid-September.

Hi Backers 👋
Well. We told you Stretch Goal #4 was the grand finale, and you went ahead and made it happen!
$300,000 smashed! Every single stretch goal has now been unlocked, which means all 5 Everything Towel colors are available to every backer. No more votes, no more waiting to see who wins.
Everyone gets the full lineup: the original colors, Charcoal and Concrete, and all three Backers' Choice colors: Burgundy, Olive, and Blue are now available as options to select in the survey.
The complete collection we dreamed up, made real, all thanks to you! This is genuinely the best possible outcome, and we still can't quite believe it. Thank you.
Production Update
We have already started rolling out production ahead of time and met with the manufacturer this week to discuss production plans.
Before the towels are woven, the cotton has to be prepared. It’s cleaned, combed, and turned into soft rolls called roving. From there, the fibers are spun into yarn: the first real step toward becoming a towel. Slow, simple, and kind of beautiful.
We’re finalizing pre-production, selecting colors, and gathering as much cotton as we can. The mill is almost as excited as we are to produce these towels, and we're happy to say that The Everything Towel is slowly coming to life!
What's next?
We're beyond grateful for your support over the last 30 days. Now the real fun begins: production and fulfillment. We're lining everything up behind the scenes so we can deliver your rewards as smoothly (and quickly) as possible.
While we're waiting for the Kickstarter funds to arrive (takes about 2 weeks), we'll be working on setting up the BackerKit survey. Through this final survey, you'll be able to:
- Select the colors of your new Everything Towels
- Provide us with the shipping address where you'd like your package delivered.
- Select add-ons to add to your pledge. We'll be offering our full range of bathroom essentials at a nice discount for all backers of this project, along with all the add-ons offered during the campaign at the same sweet KS discount!
You'll receive a personalized link on your Kickstarter email in about 3 weeks with your survey link. We'll let you know in our next update that all surveys have been sent out. The sooner you complete the Backerkit survey, the sooner we'll ship your rewards.
A note on failed payments
If your payment method has been declined, you will need to log in to your Kickstarter account and click the “Fix Payment” button in the banner at the top of your screen. Kickstarter should have sent you some email reminders to update your card info. Check your spam/junk folders for any emails with instructions.
If your payment method is not updated and your pledge is dropped, fear not! You'll have the opportunity to honor your pledge and provide an alternative payment method through Backerkit. We'll send you a survey and reserve the items you pledged for. You can provide a different payment method or use PayPal to finalize your pledge.

We saved the best for last.
We're adding a new stretch goal! If we reach $300,000, we're unlocking all 5 Everything Towel colors. That means all five colors will become available for every backer. This is the full lineup, the complete collection we dreamed up, and it only happens if we get there together.

The Everything Towel hit its funding goal in 30 minutes.
Thirty. Minutes.
That's officially a new record for us. And before we even had a chance to catch our breath, you blew past our first, second, and third stretch goals, unlocking all of them at $50,000.
This is exactly why we keep coming back to Kickstarter. No outside pressure, no shortcuts. Just us, you, and a product we really believe in!
